Meet Our Staff
Barbara Hall, NP-C, RNFA
Barbara Hall is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in orthopedics, surgical assisting, urgent care and family practice. Barbara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 1995. She worked for 12 years as an RN in the operating room, establishing herself as an expert in the field with the distinction of Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR). In 2010, she obtained further surgical education to become an RN First Assistant and worked in partnership with an orthopedic spine surgeon for 4 years. She then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated summa cum laude in 2014 from Maryville University. After gaining experience with an orthopedic office specializing
in knees and shoulders, Barbara worked with a very busy primary/urgent care office for nearly four years. Finally, she found her calling helping patients suffering from the debilitating pain of osteoarthritis, and has been loving this work since 2019. Barbara’s areas of interest are orthopedics and the holistic pursuit of physical, mental and spiritual wellness. She strongly believes in education and partnership with the patient as the most beneficial and rewarding
path to good health.
Amber - Office Manager
Amber was born in Griffin, GA. When she was 7, she moved to Pike County and has lived there ever since. Amber graduated from Pike County High School in 2014. A fun fact about Amber is that when she was in 10th grade; she and her school softball team went undefeated all the way up to the State Championship Game where they became 2nd in State of Georgia 3A Softball.. After graduating high school she began her 9 year experience in the medical field and loves to expand her knowledge. Amber's hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to her most recent success at Joint Health and Wellness of Georgia, where she leads the office, managing all social media accounts along with keeping the team on their toes with in person meetings. In her off time, she enjoys being active with her two fur babies and spending quality time with her family. Come in and meet Amber for yourself!
Kendra - Billing/Insurance Coordinator
Kendra was born in Griffin, GA. A fun fact about Kendra is that during the summers she would go down to LiveOak, FL to visit her grandparents to cave dive together. In 2009, Kendra graduated from Lamar County High School and she is now a resident of Lamar County. Kendra has four children that keep her and her husband busy all year round with sports. As well as being a dedicated mother and wife, Kendra devotes her organization and passion to Joint Health and Wellness of Georgia. Kendra's 13 years experience in the medical field gives her outstanding knowledge to be able to provide the best care to our patients when it comes to financial issues. She is always looking ahead to keep our billing department up to date. Come in and let Kendra help you!
